When you think of our weapons used in the army we have today, you probably think of guns and not spears and javelins. But back in the 15th century, the Aztecs used all sorts of weapons. Such as, a Chimalli to a Mitli. The following is the list of the most commonly used weapons used to fight:

 

• Chimalli (rounded shields and helmets)

• Spears (made short for stabbing)

• Mitl (javelins)

• Macuahuitl (fragil but sharp with blades)
