Importance
These three leaders were important because of what they did. Montezuna was a ruler who made a decision to open the empire to Cortez. By doing this, the aztec empire got betrayed by the Cortez. This was important because having the empire fall down made new things develop and change. Acamapichtli was important because he was the very first official ruler. Having this be, he was the first person to really develop the system and see what things work and what things didn't. The third leader, Itzcoatl, was important because he was a military leader. He brought the army through two wars against very powerful cities and won both of the wars.
Important Leaders
Job
There were many important leaders throughout the Aztec time. The three most important leaders would probably be Montezuma, Acamapichtli, and Itzcoatl. Montezuma was an aztec ruler along with Acamapichtli. Itzcoatl was a military leader. All of these people definitely impacted there time period.
Remember
To go along with the importance of the three leaders, was the reason we remember them and what we remember them as. Montezuna is remembered as the first ruler who got involved with Cortez and got the empire betrayed. Acamapichtli is simply remembered as the first ruler the Aztecs ever had. Itzcoatl was remembered as the person who won many battles and brought the army through confidence.
