Every army has a formation of some sort when there army is put out to fight. The formation of the Aztecs was quite simple. The elite units were leading in the front and the regular units were behind. The length of the bodies was 25 km long on a narrow trail. This formation set up wasn't the smartest because once the elite warriors died there were                            no more good fighters to fight and win.
