Tecuhtli - This was the highest class. The people in this class contained of the council that helped rule the city Tenochtitlan. This city was basically the head of the Aztecs and were wealthy and treated with respect and loyalty as they lived in a huge palaces in their cities. However, this class was below the emperor and his family, so it wasn't the absolute highest.

Pipiltin -  This class contained the people that would consisder them self a noble. These people would wear cetain clothing and jewelry. These were the people that were in the city councils which helped rule the empire.

Pochteca -  This class was much like the Pipiltin class. They were treated and behaved like them but they were not in the city councils. However, their jobs were important so thats why they got treated like the Pipiltin class.

Macehualtin - This class contained the average people. People that farmed, fought, did crafts, etc. This class didn't get any extra treatment and basically were the people who did the labor for the city.

Slaves -This class was the absolute loweset class. Slaves were not treated with respect and were sold for debts or became a slave for commiting a crime. However, they were able to buy there freedom.
