After the Aztecs fell, they left a lot of things for us today. They were very creative with inventions and ideas so there legacy was important. The Aztecs had botanic gifts from crops to herbal medicines, so they left that for us and we still use that today. We also use something called organic farming in ecological sciences today, and we got that from the Aztecs. Also, not only did they leave those things behind, but they also left there entire language. There are 1.5 million people today that speak the Nahuatl Language. The Aztecs also invented chocolate and that's something that everyone uses. The last big thing is the Mexico flag. The Mexico flag has an eagle with a snake in his mouth. They got this from the Aztecs. That was a myth on how the Aztecs found there capital city, Tenochtitlan.
